The 'Charleston 'Lions are a professional basketball team that plays in the American Basketball Association. The franchise was created in the fall of 2012 and began play that same season. Originally based in Anderson, South Carolina, the Lions moved to Charleston for the upcoming 2013-2014 season, changing their name to the Charleston Lions.

The Lions play their home games at various regional locations in South Carolina.

The Electric City Lions were created in the fall of 2012 as part of the ABA's growing list of travel/exhibition teams. The Lions were based in Anderson, South Carolina for their first season.

After their first season, the franchise moved to Charleston, South Carolina, and changed their name to the Charleston Lions.

In their first season in the ABA, the Electric City Lions went 6-6 and were defeated in the first round of the playoffs by the Gainesville Heat.
