The Dallas Impact are a professional basketball team that plays in the American Basketball Association. The franchise was created in the 2010-2011 season as a replacement for the failed Dallas Generals. The Impact are based in Dallas, Texas.
The franchise plays it's home games at the Lakewest Family YMCA.

The Dallas Impact were created in the 2010-2011 season, along with the North Dallas Vandals, as a replacement for the failed Dallas Generals, who only played a single season (2009-2010) before ceasing operations.
The name Impact was chosen as the franchise's focus was to make an impact in the community.
