History[]

The Gulf Coast Flash were created in the 2010-2011 season as Mississippi's first ABA franchise. They switched high school courts before the season started.

The Flash are based in Gulf Port, Mississippi and held the accolade of being the ABA's only Mississippi team when they were created in the  2010-2011 season.

Despite posing lackluster records (the best record they've composed is 7-3), they are also one of the league's better teams, having ranked as high as fifth place in the ABA power rankings.

Season-by-Season Record

2010-2011[]

The Gulf Coast Flash went 7-4 in the regular season, good enough for second place in the Atlantic South division. The Flash would advance to the finals before losing to the Southeast Texas Mavericks.

2011-2012[]

The Flash would go 7-3 in the regular season, third overall in the Atlantic South division. They advanced all the way to the semifinals before being defeated by the Jacksonville Giants.

2012-2013[]

The Flash would again go 7-3 in the season, taking fifth place in their division, and again reached the semifinals before being defeated by Jacksonville for the third time in a row.
