The Lima Explosion is a professional basketball team that plays in the American Basketball Association. The Explosion was created in the 2011-2012 season and are based in Lima, Ohio. They play in the Mid-Central Division of the ABA.
The Explosion play their home games at the Elida Fieldhouse.

The Lima Explosion were created in the 2011-2012 season. The Explosion are a moderately successful ABA franchise, putting-up decent records in their two seasons as an ABA team.
In their second season, Explosion owner John Bell moved to Columbus, Ohio, leaving Lewis Shine to both coach the team and act as the team's general manager.
