History[]
The Milwaukee Blast were created in the spring of 2011 as the ABA's premier Milwaukee franchise that featured talent from Milwaukee. The Blast played six games in the 2011-2012 season, losing only once to the Chicago Steam, before suspending operations on December 15, 2011. Despite a good record and healthy preformance at the gate (crowds ranged from 100-250 fans per game), the Blast never continued operations and are now presumed to be defunct.
