History[]
The San Diego Wildfire were created as one of the ABA's charter franchises and were by far one of the worst organized teams in the league.
Before the season even ended players complained about dirty uniforms and undelivered checks. To make matters worse, the team's trainer, equipment manager, and cheerleaders all quit and the team finally folded in disgrace in the 2000-2001offseason.
Season-by-Season Record[]
2000-2001[]
In their first - and only - season, the San Diego Wildfire went 8-33 and were defeated in the playoffs by the Chicago Skyliners.
