The San Francisco Pilots are a defunct professional basketball team that played in the American Basketball Association from 2005-2007. The franchise was created in the fall of 2005 and was based in San Francisco, California.
The Pilots played their home games at the Kezar Pavilion.

The San Francisco Pilots were created in the fall of 2005 by entrepreneur Parimal Rohit as an attempt to bring professional basketball back to San Francisco.
The Pilots had some success in the league, and in their final year of existence was considered as the "West Alternate" for the ABA playoffs, but never participated and went defunct in the off-season.

After numerous arena problems the Pilots suspended operations and eventually went defunct.
